Laboratory & Pathology

The Laboratory at Taylor Regional Hospital is licensed by Kentucky Department of Health and accredited by both Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and The Joint Commission (TJC).

The Laboratory/Pathology Department provides services within the following functional sections:

Clinical Sections:
• Microbiology
• Immunology (Serology)
• Chemistry
• Blood Bank
• Coagulation
• Hematology
• Urinalysis
• Phlebotomy

Anatomical Sections:
• Surgical Pathology
• Cytopathology

The Laboratory is located on the first floor of the TRH Medical Office Building.

Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

No appointments are needed for blood draws.
